So... what'd you think?4
Did you have fun?4
What was fun about it?Mixing basic colors to produce different ones, the "splat" concept was really neat, environment was fun to run around in.
What wasn't so fun?Camera controls felt a little wonky to me, I would have like to have been able to invert it. Invincibility powerup should change how the character looks.
Did anything in particular stand out as awesome?
Did anything in particular stand out as awful?
Did you enjoy mixing colors?
Did you have trouble mixing or distinguishing colors? Not really, although some colors never seemed useful (I played a few times for about 5 minutes each time and never once saw a purple enemy)
Did you enjoy the graphics/art style?
Did you enjoy listening to the in-game music? It got a bit repetitive after awhile though
Were the in-game sound effects satisfying?
Did you have any trouble controlling Blob Man? Did he always do what you wanted him to? For the most part he usually did what I had bid him to do, although as I mentioned earlier the lack of inversion and occasional wonky-ness of the camera angles was a minor problem.
Did you ever feel like you didn't know what was going on? If so, please explain when/where!
Were the enemies interesting?I know there are plans to expand on them, but the ones that were there are fun to splat.
Were they difficult? Were they too easy?A bit on the easy side.
Were the menus easy to navigate?3
Did you have any trouble?Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I was only presented with one menu, and that was at game launch.
What would you like to see more of?Powerups, like super-jumps, color tidal wave when splatting an enemy, morph into enemy (be able to fight an enemy as another enemy).
What would you like to see less of?
So overall, you would say your experience with Splat! was: 1 - Awful, worst game I've ever played. 2 - Bad, probably won't play it much if at all. 3 - Alright, I'll probably try it again. 4 - Good, I'm looking forward to the next release. 5 - Super fantastic! I love this game!!!4
Any last thoughts? Any advice or suggestions for Splat! or OPifex as a whole?
